XM deploys Microsoft SQL Server on Red Hat Enterprise Linux to optimize its data management
Compañía de Expertos en Mercados SAESP (XM) in Columbia offers services related to renewable energy and the wholesale energy market that depend on real-time systems. To improve its internal processing and database management, XM deployed Microsoft SQL Server on Red Hat Enterprise Linux and open-source software. The result: a 300 percent increase in digital transaction response times and increased availability of online services. Both compute resources and sysadmin service hours also were greatly reduced.
